1. What is the best part about being a Griff?
The best part about being a Griff is the feeling that I belong to a team, and that team is a family to me.

2. What has been your favorite moment as a Canisius student-athlete?
My favorite moment in my entire life was when our team took third at U.S. Collegiate Nationals my freshman year.

3. What is your favorite part of Buffalo?
What isn't my favorite part? Its my hometown! I love how much there is to do if you choose to get involved.

4. What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
When people judge too fast. Yes, definitely trust your gut however it may close you off from amazing opportunities.

5. Do you have a nickname? Is there a story behind it?
"Sydalicious", which is based on the song "Fergalicious". "Sydalicious, I be up in the gym just workin' on my fitness, Char's my witness." My duet partner Charlotte (Char) and I would sing it at practice a lot.

6. What was your favorite childhood TV show?
I watched a lot of "The Wild Thornberries," I still wish with all my heart that I could talk to animals.

7. Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
Ten years from now I will be married and working as a marine mammal trainer! As close as it gets to talking to whales, training an animal is not having command over that animal but sort of having a simple conversation.

8. Do you have any pre-meet routine or ritual and if so, what is it?
I do. I am the first girl to wake up and put all of my routine makeup on. It makes me feel ready, even if I'm not actually performing for hours. Plus I am free to help other girls!

9. What is your favorite quote or phrase?
"Every single person you will ever meet knows something that you don't."

10. What is one interesting fact that people may not know about you?
I wish I could live forever so that I would have enough time to learn and do everything I want to.
