Daley Selected to IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game

Senior goalkeeper Allison Daley of the Canisius College women's lacrosse team has been selected to the IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game. Daley will represent the South squad on June 11 in Downingtown, Pa.

The program's first all-regional selection, Daley earned IWLCA All-West/Midwest Second Team accolades after anchoring the Canisius defense throughout the 2011 campaign. The senior finished the season ranked seventh nationally with a .496 save percentage to go along with a 10.27 goals against average.

A first-team All-MAAC selection for the second-consecutive season, Daley finished her career in style by leading the Griffs to their first conference championship. In the MAAC Tournament, she posted a goals against average of 8.50 and a save percentage of .564 to earn Tournament MVP honors.

During her standout career, Daley was a three-time all-conference honoree and earned MAAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades in 2010. She also holds the school's record with 662 career saves, which ranks second nationally among active players.

Daley is the second Griff to represent Canisius at the All-Star Game, joining former teammate Chelsea Martinez, who earned an invite to the 2009 contest.
