Jennifer Silata ('98)- A three-time All-MAAC selection, and 1997 MAAC Player of the Year, Silata competed in 162 career softball games for the Griffs. Playing primarily in the outfield throughout her career, she earned NFCA All Mid-Atlantic Softball Team Honors in 1998 recording a .311 avg. 41 hits, 24 runs, 2 HRs, and 19 RBIs. Her 41 career doubles rank third in school history, while her 12 triples put her 12th in the school's record books for three-base knocks. Additionally Silata's 42 RBIs in 1997 is fifth best all-time in school history for a single season, and her career mark of 97 RBIs stands in the top-10. Silata exceled beyond just the diamond however, and played goaltender for the woman's soccer team over four seasons as well.

Silata stands second all-time in career save percentage (.829), career wins (26), and shutouts (11). She ranks at third for saves per game (7.63), and goals against average with a mark of 1.59. Her career saves of 374 over a span of 49 games played also sits at fourth in the schools record books.
