Canisius senior Michael Carrig is tied for fifth place, while senior Joe Vogl and freshman Andrew Romano are tied for 17th after day one of the Bucknell Fall Invitational at Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa. As a team, the Golden Griffins are in fourth place with a team-score of 601, 10 shots behind the leading Lehigh team.

In the first round, Carrig fired a one-under par 69, his fourth sub-par round this season. He shot a 77 in the second round to record a two-round score of 146, which ties him for fifth. Carrig's 77 was the second-best socre of the afternoon session for the Blue and Gold, as freshman Hunter Sagar scored a 74 in the second round. He's tied with teammate Mike Spiotta for 21st overall in the field, as both players have a combined score of 155 through 36 holes.

Romano's 74 in the first round is his college career low, and Vogl scored a season-low 73 in round one for Canisius, which shot 291 as a team in the first round and held the overall lead after 18 holes.

Bucknell sits in second overall, with Dan Bernard leading the way in the individual event with an even-par 140.
