The second Canisius College Cage
Club Luncheon of the 2012-13 season will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the
Holiday Inn Downtown, located at 620 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. The event will
run from 12-1:30 p.m., and the cost of registration is $15.
The menu
for this event will include a garden salad, bread and butter, sliced roast beef
and penne pasta with sauce, oven-roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Water
and coffee will be provided and there will be a cash bar available.
Canisius head
men's basketball coach Jim Baron
will be on hand to talk hoops and preview the Golden Griffins' final home
regular-season weekend, which is scheduled to start Feb. 28, when the team
hosts Saint Peter's in the Koessler Athletic Center. That game will tipoff at 7
p.m., and will be broadcast live on ESPN3. The "Voice of the Griffs" Jay Moran
will once again emcee the luncheon.

Thursday, Feb. 7, at Manhattan, with game time set for 7 p.m. That game will be
broadcast live on ESPN3.
