2013 Shoes for the Shelter 5K Results

The 15th annual Shoes for the Shelter 5K, presented by Independent Health, was held on Sunday, April 14, on a new course in downtown Buffalo. Nearly 400 runners participated in the race.

Former Canisius cross country runner Vasilis Kariolis won the men's race with a time of 15 minutes 33 seconds, taking the race by 56 seconds. Current women's cross country assistant coach and former cross country runner Aileen Hoak won the women's race with an event record time of 17:28, winning the race by 58 seconds.
