Garrett Cortright and Jimmy Luppens were named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division I All-Star Team. Cortright and Luppens, who are the fifth and sixth Golden Griffins to be honored by the ECAC in the last six years, were voted to the second team by the coaches of the schools in the ECAC region.

Cortright, a 40th-round draft pick of the Baltimore Orioles, posted an 11-4 record in 16 starts to go along with a 2.41 earned run average and 76 strikeouts. Cortright led the conference in earned run average and was tied for first with the 11 victories. Cortright set a conference record with 115.2 innings pitched to go along with five complete games. An All-MAAC First-Team selection, Cortright threw a nine-inning one-hitter in the first round of the 2013 MAAC Championship, allowing one unearned run, walking none and striking out seven.

Luppens, an All-MAAC First-Team selection, ranked second in the MAAC with a .368 batting average, third in slugging percentage (.508), first in on-base percentage (.468), fourth in RBI (47) and first in hit by pitch (18). Luppens led the MAAC with 24 RBI in conference play and had two walk-off hits for the Griffs on the season.

Cortright and Luppens were two of five players from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to be honored by the ECAC, with Canisius standing as the only MAAC school with two representatives.
