The Canisius women's team earned the No. 5 seed in this year's MAAC Tournament by picking up wins in four out of their last five games, including a pair of home victories over Fairfield and Rider last weekend to close out the regular season. The Griffs (13-16, 9-11 MAAC) will take on MAAC newcomer Quinnipiac on Friday, March 7, with tip-off set for 2:30 p.m. Listen live to Mike Scott on

The Canisius men's team is the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Tournament after the Blue and Gold went 20-11 overall and 14-6 in MAAC play. This marks the program's eighth 20-win season and it is the team's first back-to-back 20-win years since 1993-94 and 1994-95. Canisius is led by senior guard Billy Baron, who was named All-MAAC First Team earlier this week after he averaged 24.4 points per game during the regular season. That number ranks third nationally. Canisius will play Siena on Saturday, March 8, with tip-off set for 2:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and the live audio call can be found at AM-1400 in Buffalo and online through the Golden Griffin Broadcast Network.
