  • Owners of the longest consecutive games streak with a made 3-point field goal in NCAA history, the Golden Griffins enter this week ranked first in the country in 3-point field goal percentage.
  • Through the team's first five games of the season, Canisius is shooting 51.3 percent on 3-point field goals, holding the top spot by more than five percent.
  • In the past three games, Canisius is 28-of-47 (59.6 percent) from behind the arc.
  • Canisius made 61.5 percent of its 3-pointers at Wisconsin (Nov. 23) and 61.1 percent at Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 25). It was the first time in program history Canisius made 60 percent of its 3-pointers in consecutive games.
  • Two Golden Griffins are shooting 60 percent or better on 3-pointers ? Micayla Drysdale leads the team at 65.0 percent (13-for-20) and Marie Warner is second at 60.0 percent (9-for-15).

STEPH MAC ATTACK
  • Freshman Stephanie MacDonald had the best game of her young Canisius career in the team's 79-73 victory at Binghamton on Saturday.
  • MacDonald scored a career-high 21 points in 25 minutes against the Bearcats.
  • In the four previous games combined, MacDonald had 15 points.
  • MacDonald leads the Canisius bench in minutes played, averaging 22.2 minutes per game. MacDonald has played at least 20 minutes in four of the team's five games this season.
SIENA SCOUT
  • Siena enters Friday's game with an 0-6 record, dropping three games at home and three games on the road.
  • Siena has dropped its last five games by at least 14 points, with one of those losses coming in overtime at Eastern Michigan.
  • Siena ranks fourth in the league in scoring offense, ninth in scoring defense, sixth in free throw percentage, sixth field goal percentage and eighth in field goal percentage defense.
  • Heather Stec has led the team in rebounding in all six games, highlighted by a 17-rebound effort against Rhode Island in the season opener.
  • Stec leads the team at 13.3 points per game and is first in the MAAC at 10.2 rebounds per contest.
  • Allie Lindemann leads the Saints from behind the arc, connecting on 20-of-56 (35.7 percent) 3-pointers in the team's opening six games. No other Siena player has more than six made 3-pointers this season.
