After helping lead the Canisius College men’s soccer team to a victory against Robert Morris over the weekend, senior forward Andrew Incho was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week by the conference on Monday.
The senior recorded a career-best three points in the 3-2 victory over the Colonials on Sunday. He executed a flip throw in the first half, assisting on a goal to give the Griffs a 2-1 lead. After the Colonials tied the game, Incho scored the game-winning tally in the 69th minute for the 3-2 victory.
Incho, who earned his first career MAAC weekly honor, has appeared in five games during his senior season with three starting assignments. In 50 career games, he has totaled nine points, three goals and three assists.
Incho and the Griffs return to action on Friday, playing at Western Michigan with kickoff set for 4 p.m.
