The Canisius-Niagara doubleheader, scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at Niagara Field in Lewiston, N.Y., has been postponed due to poor field conditions. The Golden Griffins and the Purple Eagles will meet each other in MAAC action Monday, April 21, with the first game set for noon.

The Griffs are 6-16 overall, but the team closed out its Spring Break trip in California last week with non-league wins over Dartmouth and Loyola-Marymount. Junior Robin Kennery leads Canisius with her .324 batting average. Through the team's first 22 games this season, Kennery also leads Canisius with 23 hits, three doubles and 12 RBI. Senior pitcher Jen Consaul is 5-9 on the year with a 2.48 ERA and 11 complete games in 17 appearances.

Canisius will return to action on Tuesday, April 1, when the Blue and Gold hosts cross-town rival Buffalo at the Demske Sports Complex for a non-league doubleheader. Game one is set for 3 p.m.
