Canisius College women's basketball coach Terry Zeh is taking part in the Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE) this week on the campus of Columbia University in New York. Zeh is one of 30 coaches participating in the invitation-only, elite leadership program. This week's session is the fourth session held during the past two seasons.

The CCE is a joint project of Columbia University and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). The CCE introduces coaches to various aspects of leadership and provides a deeper understanding and appreciation of the importance of ethics and integrity in women's college basketball through a rigorous curriculum presented in a seminar-style environment.

Using the resources of Columbia University, the CCE provides an unparalleled, exclusive learning experience for college women's basketball coaches. Utilizing collaborative and interactive learning sessions and panel discussions featuring experts in college athletics and women's basketball, the CCE provides women's basketball coaches with valuable networking opportunities with their peers and top industry leaders. Topics of instruction have included Principles and Practices of Leadership, Why Leadership Matters, Developing Team Leaders and the Pressure to Win At All Costs.
