Mike Torrillo '89 - A two-sport standout, mike is the all-time leading scorer in Ice Griff history and a career .278 hitter as an outfielder/designated hitter for the baseball team. On the ice, the Amherst, NY (Sweet Home) product scored 121 goals, added 144 assists and compiled 265 points in 116 career games. He was the team MVP his final three seasons and set a school mark as a senior with nine points (five goals & four assists) in a contest against Fredonia. He posted a school record 36 goals as a junior in 32 games and added a record 44 assists during the Griffs 29 game season in 1985-86. Canisius was 62-43-4 in Mike's four seasons, as Torrillo compiled an aggregate +/- of +140. On the diamond, he played in 56 games with 10 stolen bases, eight doubles and 13 RBI. Mike is a teacher and coach at Williamsville East High School.
