Kara Haun-Rehbaum '84 - Starred for the Griffs women's basketball team between 1980-1984. During her four years, Canisius held at 90-21 record (81.1%) and reached the NCAA Division II quarterfinals in 1983. An honorable mention All-American as a sophomore, she earned third team pick as a junior and a second team selection as a senior. At the time of her induction, the Irondequoit native was the Griffs all-time leading scorer (1,661 points) as well as all-time rebounder (1,075). After graduating with a degree in physical education, Haun-Rehbaum played one season of professional basketball with Atlanta in the Women's American Basketball Association. She coached Canisius basketball from 1993-1998 and was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year after guiding the Griffs to a 19-8 record in the 1994 season.
