Patricia A. Aronson '81 - Aronson was a member of the Canisius women's basketball team from 1977-1981. In her four years she scored a total of 1226 points and pulled down 543 rebounds. At the time of her induction, those figures placed her fourth on the career scoring list and seventh on the career rebounding list. She was the first women's basketball player at Canisius to score over 1,000 points. Under her leadership, the Golden Griffins advanced to the Division II New York State championship game three times, finished second in 1979. As a four-year started, she averaged 14.6 points per game. She is the first women's basketball player to be inducted into the Canisius Sports Hall of Fame.
