Joseph R. Turski '36 - Joseph Turski may possibly be the best tennis player to ever graduate from Canisius College. Joe recorded many major victories during his four-year collegiate career. He continued his domination in local tennis circles by winning the Buffalo Men's Municipal Singles Crown for five consecutive years from 1935-1940. He was also a member of the championship doubles team in 1935, 36, 38, 40, 41, 42, 46. Turski went on to a career in the City of Buffalo Police Department and served there for 47 years before his retirement.
