Kwame Oduro is in his second season as assistant coach with Golden Griffin men's soccer program.

A former standout player in the MAAC for Niagara, Oduro joined Canisius after spending two seasons as an assistant coach with Division II Nyack College. During his tenure with the Warriors, Oduro helped the team capture its first CACC Championship in 2009, while also mentoring three All-Americans.

Oduro was a member of the Purple Eagles from 2004 to 2006, helping Niagara earn back-to-back MAAC Tournament bids for the first time in the program's history during his junior and senior campaigns. In 2006, Oduro captained the Purple Eagles to one of the most successful seasons in school history. Niagara placed second in the MAAC standings, the program's highest finish, and ranked fifth in the NSCAA North Atlantic Region. He was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team and also earned team MVP honors following the season.

Overall, Oduro totaled 38 points, 17 goals and four assists in his three seasons at Niagara, placing him in the top 10 in the school's record book in both career points and career goals. Oduro also spent one season at Houghton College, totaling 29 points and 13 goals in 2003. He helped lead the Highlanders to a NAIA national ranking of 24th, while earning American Mideast Conference North Division Rookie of the Year honors.

After graduating from Niagara, Oduro played one season with the Cleveland Internationals of the PDL in 2007. He currently holds a NSCAA National Coaching Diploma.

Oduro earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Niagara in 2007. He was a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree, while also earning selection to the 2005 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team. Oduro also owns a master's degree in organizational leadership.
