Dear Friends of Canisius Athletics,

Leaders - for Life, a theme for our current Blue and Gold Fund campaign, but also what our Golden Griffin student-athletes become. A Canisius education, when combined with a challenging athletic experience, not only builds on our great tradition but also develops uniquely prepared young men and women who are ready for success when they leave our campus.

That same growth and improvement is happening in our athletic program and the success is evident:

Consider that in the past year we have:

  • Crowned two individual MAAC Champions
  • Had three teams earn Conference Championships
  • Two teams advance to the NCAA Tournament
  • Earned a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes of 3.14
  • Received recognition for our 31st Academic All-American - by far the most of any Big 4 school

Proof the athletics culture has changed and our program is achieving its championship goals!

Clearly, we have made tremendous progress with our athletes and teams, but there is much to be accomplished. To build success, we need your help.

The Blue and Gold Fund enables you to make a championship difference by providing the resources to recruit and develop the best and brightest student-athletes our coaches can identify. You can designate your donation to the general athletics Blue and Gold Fund, or restrict your gift to a specific sport. Please note that 100 percent of every gift is directed to support our athletic program.
