Zachary Sloan once again got the start for Canisius and worked 6.2 innings, allowed six hits and three runs and fanned a career-best eight batters during the contest. Will Frank came on in relief and worked 2.1 innings and allowed just one hit and one earned run and fanned four as he recorded his first win of his Griffs career.

Dalton O’Boyle , Shane Odzark and Dru Sebastian all split an inning each and yielded three hits and five runs, with O’Boyle feeling the brunt of it, getting charged with four runs and the loss.

Brandon Yoho was the offensive leader for Fort Wayne as he tallied three RBI on the day, while Jake Weber rapped out three hits.
