GAME ONE RECAP
With the game knotted up at 5-5, Fordham broke through in the bottom of the ninth, as the Rams got a runner on thanks to a Canisius throwing error, and Brian Goulard singled down the right field line to score Reiss Knehr, to win the game 6-5.

The Griffs took the lead in the top of the seventh inning as Ryan Stekl brought Wilson in on a sacrifice fly, to make it 5-4. However Fordham responded in the home half of the eighth as a Mark Donadio double brought home Justin Bardwell to knot it up.

Andrew Sipowicz got the start on the bump, and worked 5.2 innings and allowed six hits, and three runs, two of which were earned and fanned four in the no-decision. Michael Ginther came on in relief and worked 1.2 innings and allowed a pair of runs on four hits, before Jared Kennedy finished yielded the go-ahead run (unearned) in his only frame, on one hit to earn the loss.

Fordham held the Griffs offense to just six hits on the day, as Zach Garick led the team with a pair of hits and one RBI. Brandon Nicholson and William Krull each recorded an RBI as well. Ryan Stekl, continued his strong spring, with a hit and an RBI.

GAME TWO RECAP

Canisius used a big four-run rally in the bottom of the fifth inning, and a strong seven-inning complete game shutout from J.P. Stevenson to secure the Saturday split with Fordham, 4-0.

In the fifth frame, the Griffs got on the board first when Cyrus Senior walked and Liam Wilson singled to left field to move him to second base. Following a mound visit, Jake Lumley singled to left field and drove in senior to tally the first run of the game.

Following the run, Ryan Stekl walked to load the bases before Kyle Martin came on to pitch and offered up a double to Christ Conley who delivered the definitive blow, scoring all three baserunners to make it 4-0.

Aside from the big offensive output for the Griffs, the Blue and Gold was bolstered by the third-straight quality start by Stevenson, who limited Fordham to just three hits in the outing, and fanned three batters to go the distance in the seven-inning game and improve to 3-0.

At the plate Wilson was the only hitter with two hits in the game, while Conley led the team in RBI with three.
