Lawrence "Sugar Ray" Hall '85 - A four-year letter winner in men's basketball, Hall was the all-time leading scorer for Canisius basketball with 2226 points at the time of his induction. In 1982 Hall was named the ECAC North Atlantic Rookie of the Year and was twice named first team all-conference. In 115 career games, all of which he played as a starter, he scored in double figures 108 times and scored 20 or more points 60 times. At the time of his induction, Hall held the school records for field goals (812), free throws (602) and steals (219). In his four-year career, Hall posted career highs of 37 points and 14 rebounds. At the time of his induction, he was one of only 342 players in Division I history to score over 2000 points. After his graduation, Hall was drafted by the Utah Jazz.
