Lynsey Miller
Director of Student-Athlete Academic Support Services

Miller joins the Canisius staff after previously serving for three years as Marist College's assistant director for student-athlete enhancement. In that role, the Cheektowaga, N.Y. native was responsible for academic advisement of probationary student-athletes, assisting in the development and direction of the Life Skills program and oversaw career development opportunities for student-athletes in conjunction with Marist's office of career service. In addition to developing and implementing gender-equity programming at Marist, Miller also met with prospective student-athletes regarding the school's academic support services.

Miller graduated from Daemen College in 2005 with her bachelor's degree in psychology. While at Daemen, she was a member of the school's women's soccer team and earned honorable mention all-league honors for her play on the field. She earned her master's degree in sport and exercise psychology from Ball State in 2007.

Michael Anderson
Life Skills Graduate Assistant

Anderson came to Canisius in the Fall of 2009 and is joining the athletic department in the Fall of 2010. He is purusing his Masters degree in the Student Personnel Administration program at Canisius. Anderson received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Adolescent Earth Science & Geology at SUNY Oswego. Anderson was a four-year member of the cross country and indoor/outdoor track and field teams. Anderson also serves as a graduate student in the Student Advisement Office and Tutoring Center, and is an Academic Mentor as well.

Brandon Emmanuel
Student-Athlete Academic Support Services Graduate Assistant

Emmanuel came to Canisius in the fall of 2010. He is pursing his Masters Degree in the Sports Administration (MSA) program at Canisius. Emmanuel received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law at Laurentian University. Prior to Laurentian, Emmanuel was a member of the Ryerson University men's basketball team. Emmanuel also serves as the secretary for the Canisius College MSA Society.
