In the Griffs' 5-0 win over Manhattan April 21, on the road, sophomore hurler went the distance and fanned five while allowing just two singles for her 10th complete-game effort of 2012 and her fourth shutout-win of the season. She earned her 15th career win April 20, after she allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits in seven innings of work at Saint Peter's, and she also posted a complete-game shutout in the team's 8-0 victory over St. Bonaventure April 17. Defensively, she was credited with five fielding assists, and at the plate, she drew a base-on-balls and was credited with a successful sacrifice against St. Bonaventure.
DelPrince became the second Canisius freshman this season to be named the league's top-rookie after she hit .389 (7-for-18) with two home runs, four runs scored and eight RBIs in six games. In the Griffs' sweep of Saint Peter's April 20, the team's leftfielder helped lead the Blue and Gold to a 5-3 win in game one with her first career home run, a grand slam in the fourth inning, and she followed that by going 1-for-3 with a stolen base in the nightcap. She had two hits and two RBIs in the team's 8-0 win over St. Bonaventure April 17, and she closed out the week with a .421 on-base percentage and a .722 slugging percentage.
