Megan Bell tallied 23 kills and 14 digs, while Karla Barhorst and Katie Noble posted 15 kills each to lead Robert Morris to a 3-1 (30-32, 30-18, 30-25, 30-23) volleyball victory over Canisius College at the Koessler Athletic Center Saturday afternoon.

The Colonials had five players in double-figures for digs, led by Julie Sector and Darcy Thompson with 16 each. Robert Morris posted a .246 hitting percentage, while Canisius hit .112 for the match. Traci Zureick had 47 assists to go with 12 digs.

Christina Wildes led Canisius with 16 kills and tallied 11 digs. Leigh Launhardt, Jennifer DeBee, and Kim Hoffman each had eight kills, while Jackie Reed tallied 36 assists. Hoffman added 13 digs, Kelly Sieber finished with 10 and Kerry McNamee posted 13.

Robert Morris improves to 12-9 with the victory, while Canisius drops to 3-13. The Griffs return to action at 5 p.m. tonight as Canisius hosts St. Francis (Pa.) in the Koessler Athletic Center.
