The win improves Canisius to 9-18 overall, 5-4 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, while Saint Peter’s falls to 6-19 overall, 3-6 in conference play.

Four Golden Griffins posted double digit kills, led by freshman Leigh Launhardt and her team-high 13 kills. Launhardt also added five service aces and five block assists in the win. Sophomores Christina Wildes and Kim Hoffman had 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Senior Jennifer DeBee had 10 kills in her final home game as a Golden Griffin. Fellow senior Kelly Sieber had a team-high 15 digs while junior setter Jackie Reed broke the 1,000 assist mark for the 2002 season with 35 assists.
