The Oct. 15 edition of the Canisius Coaches Corner features volleyball coach Cathy Hummel. The Golden Griffins have three home matches this week, starting on Thursday, when Canisius faces Niagara at 6 p.m. in the Koessler Athletic Center.

The Golden Griffins are 8-10 overall and 5-3 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Canisius is in a tie for third place in the league standings. Canisius hosts Niagara on Thursday (2 p.m.), Manhattan on Saturday (2 p.m.) and Saint Peter's on Sunday (2 p.m.).
