The Stags came right back and pushed their lead to 19-11. Canisius would mount a late rally, getting as close as 24-21, but couldn't complete the comeback.

The fourth set featured 12 ties and five lead changes as the teams stayed close for a majority of the set. Canisius was up 18-16 after a service ace from freshman Roxanne Hernandez, but Fairfield would climb back into the set and won the final five points of the set to win the match.
