The teams stayed close throughout the fourth set and Rider went up 18-15 after a kill from Kayla Wong. The Griffs then scored six of the next seven points to go up 21-19. Rider tied the set at 22-22, but Canisius closed out the set, including a service ace from Brawn and kill from Good, to win the match.
