The Canisius baseball team has added a non-conference game against rival Niagara University. The teams will play a single, nine-inning game at the Demske Sports Complex on Tuesday, with first pitch set for 2 p.m.

Canisius lost one game to weather on the opening weekend of the season and also has lost mid-week games due to weather to St. Bonaventure and Cornell. NCAA Division I teams are permitted to play 56 games during the regular season. If Canisius plays the rest of the games on its schedule, the Griffs will only play 52 games, which is the fewest since the 2005 season.
