Scouting the Griffs
• Canisius moved to 1-0 in MAAC play and 5-4 overall with its win over Iona on Saturday.

• Junior attacker Tori Quinn has gotten hot of late for Canisius, with 14 points (eight goals, six assists) in her last two games, including an eight point performance in Canisius’ 19-12 win over Iona.
• Upon entering the season, junior goaltender Kayla Scully had a career-high of 12 saves. Saturday, Scully made another 12, marking the third time this season she has made a dozen or more, (12 at Syracuse, 15 at Duquesne, and 12 at Iona).

Offensive Explosion
• The Griffs offense has gotten hot of late, averaging 16.75 goals per game over their last four contests. Canisius is 3-1 over that span.
• Canisius has scored 18 or more goals in three of the last four games. In program history, this is only the third time that Canisius has scored 18 or more goals three or more times in a season. They reached the plateau four times in 2011 and three times in 2012.
• The Griffs averaged 8.4 goals per game over the first five games of the season.
• Canisius has three players with 25 points or more through the first nine games (Quinn 38, senior Maria Kotas 31, sophomore Taylor Giglio 25).

Scouting the Red Foxes
• Marist enters Wednesday’s contest boating a 6-2 record, having won three in a row.
• The Red Foxes are averaging 11 goals per game and allowing just 8.5.
• Jamie Romano leads Marist offensively with a team-high 22 goals and 23 points.
• Maris has five players with 13 or more points on the season.
• Abigail Witczak has started all but one game in net for Marist. She holds a .500 save percentage with 56 saves.

Series History
• This is the 22nd meeting between Canisius and Marist – the most meetings with any team in program history.

• Canisius is 6-15 all-time against the Red Foxes, but the Griffs have dominated of late, winning five of the last seven meetings.
• Three of the last four meetings have been decided by three goals or less, including the last meeting – a 10-9 victory in the MAAC Championship game.
• Kotas scored four goals for the Griffs in that contest, and Scully made six saves.
