Women's Soccer Closes Out Road Schedule at Siena

The Canisius College women’s soccer team will play its final road contest of the regular season at Siena (7-6-1, 3-2-1 MAAC) on Wednesday.

Smith’s Now Second
• Senior forward Brianna Smith moved into sole possession of second on the Griffs all-time goal scoring list with her goal against Fairfield on Saturday.

• Smith has eight goals on the year and 37 in her career, passing school points leader Kelly Reinwald.
• Smith has 81 career points, placing her fourth in school history.

A Lock for the Lineup
• Senior midfielder Katie Griffin is expected to play in her 40th-straight game on Wednesday.

• Griffin has been in the starting lineup for 38 of her 39-straight appearances.
• She has started 21 straight contests for the Griffs dating back to Oct. 7, 2012.

Scouting the Saints
• Siena is led offensively by forward Brittany Pfaff, who has a conference-leading 27 points this season.
• Pfaff has earned MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on three separate occasions this season.
• The Saints have used three different net-minders this season, but Taylor Booth has seen the most action with 10 starts. Booth has made 43 saves and holds a 1.38 goals against average.

Series History
• The Griffs are 9-14-1 all-time against Siena.
• Siena took the last meeting by a score of 5-3 on Sept. 30, 2012.
• The teams tied at 1-1 in the last meeting in Loudonville in 2011.
