The Canisius College men's basketball closes out its weekend road swing with a 2 p.m., game at Siena Sunday afternoon. The Golden Griffins are on a three-game MAAC road winning-streak after beating Niagara on the road Feb. 14, the program's longest road winning streak in conference games since 2006-07.

• Canisius closes out its weekend road swing today when the team plays at Siena. The game will be broadcast live on the Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
• The Golden Griffins come into today's game with a 17-9 overall record and an 11-4 mark in MAAC play. The 11 conference wins matches last year’s conference victory total.
• Canisius overcame an 11-point second half deficit en route to a 71-65 win at Niagara Friday night. The Blue and Gold have won three games this season when trailing by 11 points in the game’s second half.
• The win at Niagara on Friday was the Griffs’ third-straight MAAC road win, the program’s longest conference road game winning streak since the 2006-07 season.

• Canisius senior Billy Baron leads Canisius and ranks fourth in the nation with his 24.0 points per game scoring average. He had 34 points in the win at Niagara on Friday, his sixth game of 30 or more points this season.
• Baron comes into today’s game averaging 8.3 career assists in three meetings against Siena. He had a career-high 13 assists when these teams met in Buffalo Dec. 8.
• Canisius senior Chris Perez scored 17 points in the win at Niagara on Friday. The Griffs are 11-4 this season when he scores in double figures.
• The Griffs will be playing their third-straight game without senior Chris Manhertz. Manhertz is out today after breaking his nose in the team’s loss to Manhattan at home Feb. 7.

• Siena comes into this afternoon’s game with an 11-15 overall record and a 7-8 mark in MAAC play.
• The Saints lost at Marist 65-64 on Friday night, but the team is 8-3 at home this season.
• Junior Rob Poole leads the Saints in scoring average with 14.6 points per game, which ranks 13th in the MAAC. As a team, Siena ranks eighth in the conference in scoring average.
• Sophomore Brett Bisping is good for 5.8 rebounds per game to lead the way on the glass for the Saints. He’s also shooting a team-best 55.2 percent from the field this season.
• Freshman Marquis Wright leads the MAAC and ranks 40th in the nation with his 5.3 assists per game.
• As a team, Siena ranks fifth in the MAAC in scoring defense, as the Saints allow 72.4 points per game. The Saints’ 38.0 rebounds per game average is second-best in the conference.

• This afternoon marks the 91st all-time meeting between these two schools, with Siena holding a 51-39 lead in the series.
• The Griffs come into today’s game on a two-game winning streak in the series with the Saints after the Blue and Gold scored a 93-78 win in Buffalo Dec. 8. This is Canisius’ first two-game winning streak in the series since Feb. 5, 2005 and Dec. 11, 2005.
• Last season, Canisius lost to Siena in the Times Union Center by the score of 57-54 on a buzzer-beater at the end of regulation time. Coming into today’s game, Canisius has lost nine-straight to Siena in the Times Union Center, with the Blue and Gold’s last win over the Saints in this building coming Jan. 17, 2005 in overtime.
