Four Griffs Earn CRCA Academic Honors

Four members of the Canisius College rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar Athletes the organization announced.

Sophomore Hannah Blum received the award for the first time, while junior Liz Reinwald and seniors Meghan Martin and Liz McKinney were honored for the second-straight year.

In order to be named a scholar athlete by the CRCA, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, in their second year of eligibility and maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

The Griffs finished fifth at the MAAC Championships this season and return 21 student-athletes for the 2014-15 campaign.
