Transfer Student-Athlete Information
If you are currently, or ever have, attended a junior college, two-year college, or four-year college, there are certain requirements that must be met in order to transfer to Canisius College and subsequently participate in its athletics programs. In addition to meeting the general college requirements, the NCAA requires additional standards be met dependent on your status as a two-year or four-year college transfer.
Please note, that if you were ever a student-athlete at a previous 4-year institution, coaches from Canisius College may not contact you about a potential transfer until they are issues permission to contact from your Compliance Office.
The 2012-2013 NCAA Transfer 101 Guide (pdf) provides eligibility and academic information for all transfers within the various divisions.
