Meg Thompson '91 - A three year letter winner for the Golden Griffins softball team, at the time of her graduation Thompson held records for the women's softball team in career batting average (.446), career hits (174), career home runs (14), career double (25) and career RBIs (140).  In her freshman year Thompson was second in Division I in home runs and third in RBIs. As a sophomore, she set the record for season home runs with five, repeating the effort in her senior season, and finishing first in the country in RBIs. In her junior season, she set the record for season hits with 57 in 1990, finishing the season first in the country in batting average, RBI, runs scored and slugging percentage. In 1991 Thompson held a batting average of .464 in 37 games, earning 41 runs and 52 hits from 112 at-bats. She recorded 43 RBIs that season, including five home runs, four triples and six doubles.  She also ranked third in batting average, sixth in runs and slugging percentage and seventh in RBIs as a senior. The Griffs compiled an 84-39-1 record during her career.
