The
Canisius baseball program has won 175 games the past five seasons, the
fourth-highest total in the Northest. The win total of 175 ranks 47th across
the country and 20th among schools from non-power conferences. Canisius is one of two schools from the Northeast region to win
33 or more games each in at least four of the last five seasons. Canisius won the MAAC
regular-season title in 2008 and 2010 and has advanced to the championship round of the MAAC Championship three times in the last four years -- the only appearances in program history.
During
the past five years, Canisius has had eight players associated with the program
selected in the Major League Baseball Draft, including the first junior since 1994. During the past six years, Canisius has also had three All-Americans, 13 first-team all-MAAC Selections, 12 second-team
