Senior Samantha Good earned All-Tournament Team honors for her performance in this weekend's MAAC Championship, held at Fairfield University. Good led Canisius with 12 kills and a .500 attack percentage to go along with four blocks in the Griffs' four-set loss to Siena College. Ten of Good's 12 kills came in the last two sets of the match.

Fairfield University won the 2012 MAAC Championship in five sets, defeating Siena College 20-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-20, 25-11. Brianna Dixion earned MAAC Most Valuable Player honors for the Stags, who won their first postseason title since 2001.

Canisius finished the season with a 16-13 record, which included a 13-5 mark in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Golden Griffins finished in the top four of the conference for the third consecutive season and fifth time in the last seven years.
