ATLANTIC HOCKEY TOURNAMENT REVIEW
• All four home teams, including Canisius, won last week as the Griffs now advance to play second-seeded Air Force.
• In addition, all four western pod teams were victorious, leaving six western teams remaining and just two eastern squads.
• During the regular season, Air Force was 2-0-1 against Canisius with all three games coming down to the final minutes.
• The four advancing teams in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals will be reseeded next weekend for the league's semifinals in Rochester.

PEAKING AT THE RIGHT TIME
• Canisius is entering the weekend playing its best hockey of the year.
• The Griffs have won their last four games with their first-ever sweep of RIT to earn home ice and following with the sweep of Bentley.
• The four-game winning streak is the longest for the team since also winning four-straight from Feb. 20 to Feb. 28, 2004.

CAPOBIANCO EARNS AHA GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
• Tony Capobianco carried his superb regular season into the postseason and was rewarded with AHA Goaltender of the Week honors.
• Making his postseason debut last weekend, Capobianco stopped 70-of-71 shots that he faced, posting a .986 save percentage.
• Friday's shutout was just the third in the school's postseason history.

CAPOBIANCO SETS A PAIR OF SCHOOL RECORDS
• Tony Capobianco not only led the Griffs to a pair of wins last week, but also set two school records.
• Capobianco now has 1,055 saves this season, surpassing the previous record of 993 held by Dan Morrison (2010-11).
• The junior also recorded his fourth shutout of the season, breaking a tie he shared with five other goalies.

CANISIUS - AIR FORCE SERIES HISTORY
• Air Force is 9-5-7 all-time against Canisius, including a 4-3-4 edge in Colorado.
• The Falcons are unbeaten in their last 10 games with the Griffs, going 5-0-5 during that span.
• Despite not earning a win in the last 10 meetings against Air Force, the series has been very competitive and close. Of the last 14 games between the two schools, the teams have either played to a draw or a one-goal game (not including empty-netters) 11 times.
• Air Force was 2-0-1 against Canisius this season. The teams battled to a 1-1 draw in Buffalo in October before the Falcons swept a pair of games at home in February (3-1 and 3-2).
• The 3-2 loss in the finale marked the only time in the last three seasons that Canisius lost a game when holding a lead at the second intermission.
• The schools are meeting for the first time in the postseason.
