The Canisius College Ticket Office announced today that single-game tickets for both the Canisius men's and women's basketball seasons will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 23. Fans can purchase tickets at the Canisius Ticket Office inside the Koessler Athletic Center, by phone or online at GoGriffs.com.
Men's basketball reserved seating prices are $15 and $8 for general admission. For the Golden Griffins' home date against long-time rival Niagara, reserved seats are $17 and general admission prices are $10. Canisius is scheduled to play a total of 12 home games in the Koessler Athletic Center this season, starting Monday, Nov. 11, when the Blue and Gold officially open the year against South Dakota.
Prices for the women's home games are $5 for reserved admission and $3 for children under the age of 10. The women's team will open the 2013-14 slate at home Friday, Nov. 8 when the Griffs play host to Detroit.
The men's team will also host a pair of exhibition games again this season, starting Monday, Oct. 28, when the Griffs play host to Daemen. Canisius will also play Mercyhurst Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the team's final tune-up before starting the 110th season in program history.
Season tickets are also still available, which features 26 men's and women's home games. The price is $250 for courtside seating, $165 for reserved seats and $100 for general admission. There is also special pricing for Canisius faculty and staff and for individual game group sales.
The Canisius Ticket Office offers fans a number of purchase options, making the experience easy and enjoyable.
- In person: Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office inside the Koessler Athletic Center, which is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

- Online: Fans can purchase tickets seven days a week, 24-hours a day through GoGriffs.com and Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices do not reflect online service fees.
The Canisius men's basketball team is coming off its first 20-win season since 2000-01 after the Griffs went 20-14 overall last season and made a run to the quarterfinal round of the CIT. Canisius will be led by four seniors, including guard Billy Baron, who was recently named the 2013-14 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year by the league's 11 head coaches. Baron is the first Preseason MAAC Player of the Year in school history.
The Canisius women's team returns three starters and 10 letterwinners from last year's team, including Preseason All-MAAC honoree Jamie Ruttle. The women's team, under the direction of head coach Terry Zeh, opens the 2013-14 season at home Friday, Nov. 8, when the Blue and Gold hosts Detroit.
